New Associate Medical Director of Occupational Health Services: Max Blumberg

Max Blumberg, MD, MPH, grew up in Buffalo, NY. He obtained his BS in physiology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He received his MD from State University of New York at Buffalo - Jacobs School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine internship and one year of ophthalmology residency at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. He then worked for the Erie County Department of Health in Buffalo, NY, before joining the UC San Francisco occupational & environmental medicine residency program. While at UCSF he served as chief resident and completed an MPH from UC Berkeley. When not working, Max is an avid foodie and loves baking and exploring the many restaurants in SF.
